It's Director's Cut Night, with the premiere of a brand new version of the 1982 flood film by Ben Burtt, and a special expanded version of his 12/31 film, with new footage discovered since the initial premiere. The evening will begin with a new historical short by Ben's daughter Emma.

12/31 is a documentary about the storm, the flood, and the aftermath of the deluge in San Anselmo during the night of December 30 and 31 of 2005. Dramatic images of storm water, mud, destruction, and rescues were captured by a team of intrepid amateur photographers who were on the spot as it happened. In the days that followed, the people of San Anselmo rallied to clean up and repair the downtown shops and businesses. This was the flood that no one thought would happen again.
